The MEP Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities at project sites to ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. The role requires close coordination with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams to achieve timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works with Civil, Architectural, and Structural disciplines.
* Ensure all MEP works comply with project specifications, approved shop drawings, local authority regulations, and consultant requirements.
* Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, coordination drawings, and material submittals before execution.
* Monitor daily site activities and ensure work progresses according to the approved project schedule.
* Verify quality of installations and ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures.
* Coordinate Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities and support project handover.
* Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and site safety procedures.
Qualifications

• Review and approve HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting shop drawings, design drawings, and material submissions.
• Perform detailed design calculations including cooling load, ventilation, pump head, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and static pressure analysis.
• Ensure full compliance with local UAE authority regulations and applicable international engineering standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, structural teams, and all MEP disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Revit MEP models for HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
• Implement BIM models to the specified Level of Development (LOD) per project BEP.
• Participate in multi-discipline clash detection exercises using Navisworks and coordinate resolutions.
