The Store Keeper manages the receipt, cataloguing, storage, maintenance, issuance and accounting of all materials within the project site. The role ensures that there are no losses, delays or stoppages to work progress due to non-availability of materials, operating within GESCO’s materials management framework.
Key Responsibilities:
•Receive and verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders (POs) and Delivery Orders (DOs); process Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) in the ERP system.
•Issue materials to site personnel as per approved Material Requisitions (MR), Service Requisitions (SR), Asset Requisitions (AR) and Plant Hire Requisitions (PHR) through the ERP system.
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all receipts, issues, returns and closing stock balances in the inventory management system.
•Ensure proper storage methods and preservation techniques are applied to maintain material quality, safety and integrity.
•Supervise the safe and efficient handling of materials using appropriate equipment and procedures to minimize loss or damage.
•Manage and maintain all store-related documentation including Delivery Orders (DO), Purchase Orders (PO) and related records for audit readiness.
•Coordinate end-to-end material and asset ordering processes in liaison with Procurement and Site Execution teams.
•Apply proficient measurement tools and methods for accurate stock tracking and material handling.
•Identify, segregate and dispose of scrap materials in accordance with company policies.
•Ensure the safety and security of stored materials, assets, equipment and store personnel at all times.
•Liaise with all site-based staff to ensure smooth material flow and uninterrupted site operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
•Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
•5+ years of storekeeper experience with a UAE construction or MEP contractor.
•Working knowledge of ERP systems for material tracking and inventory management.
•Familiarity with various Civil, MEP, Interiors and joinery materials including handling and storage requirements.
•Basic understanding of material budgets, cost considerations and procurement schedules.
•Proficiency in MS Office suite; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Good command of English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
Sr. Storekeeper

The Senior Store Keeper leads site store operations for assigned construction projects, overseeing material planning, receipt, storage, issuance, cost monitoring and team supervision. The role ensures all store activities are carried out in accordance with GESCO’s materials management procedures and that construction activities are not delayed due to material shortages or stock discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
•Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Engineers and Procurement team for material requirements; plan delivery schedules to avoid shortages or overstocking.
•Monitor project high-value items and daily material consumption; track consumption against approved budgets.
•Monitor stock against budget, identify slow-moving and non-moving items, suggest cost-saving measures and control material wastage at the site.
•Verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders and Delivery Notes; inspect for quantity and quality in coordination with QA/QC and site engineers; process GRNs in the inventory system.

Assistant Storekeeper

The Storekeeper Assistant supports the Store Keeper in the receipt, storage, handling, issuance and documentation of site materials. The role ensures smooth material flow, accurate stock records and uninterrupted site operations by providing reliable operational assistance to all store functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the loading, unloading, moving and organizing of materials within the store area.
• Help in receiving incoming materials; check quantities against delivery notes and report discrepancies to the Storekeeper.
• Support the issuance of materials to site teams and users as per approved requisitions.
• Assist in daily stock counts, regular inventory checks and updating stock registers or system entries.
• Help with proper labelling, tagging and storage of materials to ensure easy identification and retrieval.
• Support material preservation efforts to maintain quality, prevent damage and ensure cleanliness and order in the store.
• Assist in the filing of store records including Goods Received Notes (GRN), Store Issue Vouchers (SIV) and internal forms.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Safety Officer

• Implement the site HSE Plan, ensuring all works comply with approved risk assessments, method statements, and HSE procedures.
